Self Maintenance -  Content Management System (CMS)

CMS is a technique which facilitates web site owners and users to manage
their own internet page content uploads and content editing externally from the web site itself. This is achieved without the end user having to purchase and install web authoring and FTP software. Indeed, no knowledge of web design nor the uploading process to the hosting provider's server is required. Furthermore, no interaction is required between the end user and the web site developer.

RE WebSites
© can provide a number of  CMS options, using public internet services, depending on the requirements for an individual site:

1) Interactive Content Frame (ICF) functionality can be embedded in individual web site pages which allows web content types to be viewed from within the web site. The following content types are viewable from within the embedded ICFs:

Photo Albums
Event Calendars
Document Archive

The ICFs are, in effect, individual windows looking onto the content material all
of which reside externally to the web site. This technique allows the web site to take up less disk space which in turn enhances site performance.

2) Pre-defined editable graphics and textual web page content can be authored into the web site in such away that defined editable content can be modified externally to the web site itself using a simple graphical interface utility.

Editable content types are:

Photo and other graphical images.
Defined text areas.

Again, this can be achieved without any web design knowledge or reference
to the web site developer.

RE WebSites
© can also provide help pages within the web site which provide
detail instructions regarding the use of the above facilities.

Free cost estimates can be provided on request, which are dependant on our
clients content management requirements.
